Today, we’ll share some essential tips to keep your car running smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Preventative Maintenance Tips

Regular Oil Changes: Motor oil lubricates, cools, and cleans your engine. Over time, oil breaks down and becomes less effective. Changing your oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles (depending on your vehicle and driving conditions) keeps your engine running smoothly.

Check and Replace Fluids: Your car relies on several fluids to operate efficiently, including transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, and power steering fluid. Regularly check these fluids and top them off or replace them as needed.

Tire Maintenance: Keep your tires properly inflated and have them rotated every 6,000 to 8,000 miles. This ensures even wear and extends the life of your tires. Don’t forget to check the tread depth and replace tires that are worn out.

Brake Inspections: Brakes are crucial for your safety. Have them inspected regularly, and replace brake pads and rotors when necessary. Listen for squeaking or grinding sounds, which indicate it's time for a check-up.

Battery Care: A dead battery can leave you stranded. Check your battery's charge and clean any corrosion from the terminals. Most batteries last about three to five years, so plan for a replacement accordingly.
