This past Labor Day weekend was a beautiful one here in Ohio! Between family time, outdoor adventures, and cheering on local racing, the Sun Valley Auto Repair crew made the most of the long holiday. Here’s a little recap of how we spent it:

Saturday: Home Sweet Home

Our owners, Carson and Rachel, spent Saturday close to home with their kids. The day was filled with yard maintenance, meal prepping, and simply enjoying the slower pace that comes with an extra day off. Sometimes, the best weekends start right in your own backyard.

Sunday: Falls & Fast Cars

On Sunday afternoon, Rachel took the kids out to Dundee Falls to meet a friend. Between hiking the trails and splashing in the water, it was the perfect late-summer outing for the kids.

Meanwhile, Carson and a few of our team members— Bubba, Travis, and Brian —headed to Wayne County Speedway . They spent the afternoon supporting Brian’s dad as he raced his sprint car. It was a fun way to combine family, team bonding, and local community spirit.

Monday: Mohican Adventures

On Labor Day Monday, the Miller family made their way to Mohican State Park for a day of exploring. They hiked the Big Lyons Falls trail and also checked out the Pleasant Valley Dam . With cooler temps and plenty of sunshine, it was a beautiful way to wrap up the long weekend.
