Why Is My Car Not Starting?
There are many reasons your car may not be starting. A weak battery or poor battery connection is the most common cause of a no start vehicle. The battery in your car will lose its ability to hold charge or provide enough amperage to turn the engine over. If this happens the battery will need to be replaced.
While the battery is being replaced the battery connections should be cleaned and coated to prevent future corrosion. After battery replacement the vehicle charging system should be tested to verify it is still able to charge the new battery properly. To prevent unexpected no start we recommend having a technician test your battery and charging system at least twice a year. A weak battery can usually be detected before it actually fails.
